My Watercoloring Stuff by kyunyo My Watercoloring Stuff by kyunyo
I can't This will probably be a huge waste of time because it's not helpful rofl.;

Basically my point here that I haven't got to write on the tut is:
DON'T BUY EXPENSIVE TOOLS AND PAINTS, IF YOU'RE AN AMATEUR. Don't buy tools you are incapable of using.
I'M NOT LOOKING DOWN ON YOU. I'm telling from experience. Years ago, I would spend a ton of money buying the name brand paints and brushes.

The tools don't make the art. It's talent&skill who make it. Hence why even great artists can pick up crayola paints and make something look awesome.

And as for how to actually watercolor... I swear I'll figure something out.;; I tried to watercolor last night and my hand decided to roll off a cliff and die.

That and also, I have to be honest that I really have no idea what I'm doing. I shut my brain off and let my hand do the rest. Which results in a lot of stupid mistakes that photoshop will have to fix. xD;

be as cheap as possible. ouob

i'm really trying to get back into traditional, because that's kind of where i started my whole hobby? OTL hard to explain, i just can't think of a word for it. so anyway, this helped me :) i'm trying to get used to using other mediums beside pen and pencil because those are my main tools, lol.

and a huzzah for making fab art with cheap supplies! or just crayola watercolor which i have a lot of since i really liked making bad paintings when i was little. it got all messy but mehhhhh i can deal with it

thanks for making this! :)
ashamed to say that a bunch of my watercolor trials ended up like your failed attempt. THEY SMUDGE ALL OVER WHEN I CORRECT MY MISTAKES

But the brushes are soo soft and fluffy... I got a random set in ebay (brushes) and my sister saw that it was a good buy because the brush reminds her of a magical wand. Yes... Thats what brushes are for ; m ; nice expensive -er (but not $300 worth brushes) brush magical wand for the air...

Totally agree with you. We want to get the "pro" stuff because so and so used it, not knowing it might not work out for us. Sampling definitely goes a long way (for the lifespan of your pocket money)

Hehe, I usually just invest in one or two brushes that can do all the jobs. x3; buying sets are expensiveee.

And yup! Some cheap stuff are really good, just gotta know where to look~. 8Db

i actually learned that the hard way xD But that's what I'm gonna do from now on - you actually need to see which brushes suit you and will do things to your liking.

It's just.... art supplies - they lure you in to buying them!
